Hand Drawn Boom

The exhibition focuses on the explosion of drawing and illustration in recent years and in the tradition of High Definition will feature a few of the current big names supporting some of the more emerging talents in this country. This show, however, will feature a couple of internationals, giving the works an extra worldly perspective.
Leave Friday July 1, 6-9pm, open. Not only will there be bands including Yama Boy and Electric Sea Spider plus others, but the night will also feature live drawing, led by Hamishi and some of the crew from Trails. The word EPIC is not enough! Can't wait to see you all there !!!

High Definition 2 exhibition at Ausin Tung Gallery opens 22 june

"A second leg of the High Definition exhibition will be held from June 22 at the yet to be opened Ausin Tung Gallery. Located in High St, Prahran, Ausin Tung is a Chinese owned commercial gallery, which will feature artists and curators from Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, New York and Australia. We do not want to give too much away, but it is an exciting new addition to the Melbourne art community and we are very happy to have High Definition involved as the launch/preview exhibition of the gallery. In addition, the second leg will include some  extra artists including Natasha Bieniek (Dianne Tanzer Gallery), Sophia Hewson (Lindberg Contemporary) and Zoy Xoy, as well as feature some new works by artists already involved in the High Definition experience.
